You can play around with tags (a far more flexible system than using separate notebooks IMO) to create a system that'll suit your needs in an even better way. This is just one solution and a very basic one at that. You can also save this search on web/desktop for one-click access later. If at any time you need to view the scans that do not need processing, just search with tag:scans-tag:needs_processing and it should show you the required items. Now they'll still appear under scans, but no loger under needs_processing.

Once you've processed them, just remove the "needs_processing" tag. Now, you can just go to tags on your android app and click on "scans" to see all the items, and "needs_processing" for only those that need to be worked on. The ones that need to be processed should also be tagged with "needs_processing". That way you can keep (hahah) everything in your current GTD/todo app, and store things in Evernote in proper GTD fashion. Click 'More Sharing' Click 'Post a link' Scroll through your phone apps until you find Keep.

Taking a cue from my own personal workflow system, you can create two tags - "Scans" and "needs_processing".Įvery time you upload a scan to EN, add the "Scans" tag. icon in the top right, NOT the share icon.
